Katie Hannon is Political Correspondent for RTE’s Current Affairs Department.
She has worked as a social diarist, opinion columnist and colour writer before turning her hand to political journalism, first as Political Correspondent of the Evening Herald and the Irish Examiner and later as Political Editor of the Irish Mail on Sunday.
She moved to broadcast journalism as a reporter on RTE’s Prime Time programme in 2004.
She is the author of ‘The Naked Politician’, the best-selling account of the reality of life in the trenches of Irish politics.
