Edward Hayden is a well-known chef and food writer/blogger and is very familiar to radio and television audiences from his weekly cookery slots on TV3′s Ireland AM and regular appearances on KCLR 96FM.
Edward works as a culinary lecturer at Waterford Institute of Technology and also regularly lectures in An Grianán, the Irish Countrywomen’s Association Adult Education Centre. He has also done a nationwide culinary tour of Ireland giving cookery demonstrations at a variety of locations.
Edward initially trained in professional cookery at Waterford Institute of technology, before completing a Bachelor of Arts in Advanced Culinary Arts at Cork Institute of Technology. Most recently Edward has graduated with a Master’s Degree in Learning & Teaching in Higher & Third Level Education.
Edward has published three cookery books, ‘Edward Entertains’ (2008), ‘Food To Love’ (2011) and his most recent publication is ‘Food For Friends’ (2013) has already featured in the top 10 Irish bestsellers.

Edward has also demonstrated at a number of food festivals around the country; Savour Kilkenny Food Festival, West Waterford Festival of Food, So Sligo Food Festival and has been involved with the Taste of Dublin and Taste of Christmas for many years.
