Lauren O’Neill is a Wexford-born illustrator and NCAD graduate who now lives and works in Dublin City. Her illustrations can be found on the covers and interiors of books for children throughout Ireland and abroad. She is the proud winner of the 2018 An Post Irish Book Awards Children’s Book of the Year (Senior) for her most recent book, ‘Blazing a Trail’, with author Sarah Webb and publisher O’Brien Press.
Working alongside Children’s Books Ireland, Laureate na nÓg and various Irish publishers she loves to create engaging drawing workshops for kids, usually learning more from them than they do from her.
