Sarah McInerney

Sarah McInerney is co-presenter of Newstalk Drive, a fast-paced current affairs drivetime show.

Before moving full-time to broadcasting, she was a frequent contributor on radio and television debates, and a regular stand-in presenter of Tonight with Vincent Browne.

From 2008-2016, she was political correspondent for the Sunday Times, covering all the key political events during that turbulent period.

From 2003-2008, she was news reporter for the Sunday Tribune.

She is author of a 2008 book about women who were killed in the Dublin/Wicklow mountains, ‘Where No-One Can Hear You Scream’.

She graduated from Dublin City University with a degree in Journalism.
