Margaret Roche is head chef at Hugo’s Restaurant, Merrion Row Dublin 2. She has previously spent nearly 3 years working at the Waterside Inn, the 3* Michelin restaurant under Alain Roux.
She is a graduate of DIT, having qualified in Professional Cookery and attained a BA Hons Culinary Arts, while working in the Merrion hotel for nearly 5 years under Ed Cooney and pastry with Paul Kelly.
Margaret has also worked at Arbutus 1* Michelin in Soho London and traveled to Australia for short stints of work out there.
She has also taken part in various cooking competitions on a national and international level with the Junior and Senior Irish culinary team. Margaret is also a current member of Eurotoques.
