Ralph Riegel

Ralph Riegel is the southern correspondent for The Irish Independent, Evening Herald, Sunday Independent and other MediaHuis titles. A graduate of DIT-Rathmines & DIT Aungier Street, his work has also appeared in The Daily Telegraph, The Belfast Telegraph and he is a regular contributor to RTE, BBC, NewsTalk, VirginMedia as well as numerous local radio stations. He is the author of ten books and is currently working on his eleventh. He is also a former external examiner for the MA Journalism course at MTU in Cork. A Springsteen fan since 1982, he attended his first concert aged 17 years at Slane Castle in 1985, just days before his Leaving Cert – and has since been privileged to attend over a half century of Boss concerts in Ireland, US, UK, Italy, Spain, Norway, Germany, Sweden and Canada.
