“Jennifer Whitmore was elected TD for Wicklow in 2020 and is the Social Democrats Spokesperson for Climate and Biodiversity, Children and Communications. Jennifer qualified with a BSC in Biological Science and Ecology and studied Environmental Law at the University of Sydney in Australia. Jennifer has a wealth of experience working in natural resource management, policy and legislative development. Prior to being elected as a TD, Jennifer served on Wicklow County Council and was Chair of the country’s first Council Committee for Climate and Biodiversity Action and currently sits on the Oireachtas Joint Committee for Climate Action.”
