Jason Sherlock

Jason Sherlock is a well-known Irish sports personality having represented Ireland underage in soccer and basketball and also played for the Dublin Senior Football Team for 15 seasons from 1995-2009. As an inter-county player, Jason won 7 Leinster titles and one All-Ireland title. He also served as a coach and selector with Dublin’s historic five-in-a-row All-Ireland winning Senior Football Team from 2015 to 2019.

Jason has over 15 years’ experience in sales and business development in the corporate sector and completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Dublin City University (DCU) in 2014. In his current role as Director of Development of the DCU Educational Trust, Jason supports DCU in its mission to transform lives and societies through education, research, innovation and engagement.

In addition to his sporting accolades and professional career, Jason is an advocate for racial equality and has spoken publicly about his experiences of racism. His Autobiography and TV Documentary titled ‘JAYO’ and the children’s book, part of the Ireland’s Great Sports Stars series, titled ‘Jason Sherlock’, tell the inspiring story of Jason’s journey from growing up in Dublin, his fight against racism, his ascent to the highest levels of three sports and the many challenges along the way.
