Shona Murray is Europe correspondent for Euronews based in Brussels. She reports on the war in Ukraine, the Middle East, Brexit, the European Institutions and Nato. In recent months she’s reported from Greenland, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden and the US.
Prior to joining Euronews, Shona worked as a freelance journalist for several media outlets, including TIME, Radio France International, and The Sunday Business Post. She was also a political correspondent for the Irish Independent reporting on Brexit. She’s reported from more than thirty five countries including Iraq, Israel, Palestine, South Sudan, the US, France, Guantanamo Bay. Shona holds a B.A. in Journalism, as well as a M.Phil. in International Peace Studies and an LL.M. in International Law, both from Trinity College, Dublin. She is an alumna of the US State Department’s Edward. R Murrow programme.
