Sarah Carey is a columnist, broadcaster and Communications Consultant. She writes for The Irish Independent each Saturday and has previously written for The Sunday Times and The Irish Times. Sarah hosted the award winning and critically praised Talking Point with Sarah Carey on Newstalk radio for six years, regularly anchored current affairs shows on TV3 and is a regular contributor to Irish and international programmes.
A graduate of History from Trinity College, Dublin with a post-graduate diploma in business, Sarah is a corporate communications expert with a particular interest in behavioural economics and organisational psychology, specialising in mega-project management and stakeholder engagement in telecoms and transport. She also has experience in technology, working in a start-up search firm in Silicon Valley. Sarah is a highly regarded chair and conference facilitator, known for her direct but good humoured questioning.
