Aidan Tierney

Galway native Aidan Tierney, aka “Tierney Talks” has become renowned in recent years for his well-known impersonations of famous personalities from the Sporting, Political and GAA world. Having performed pitch side on All Ireland Hurling Final Day, as he says himself, it was the only chance he’d ever had of gracing the hallowed turf of Croke Park! Aidan has also featured regularly on RTE Radio 1 Sunday Sport, 2FM, and Newstalk. A favourite on “Up for the Match” a show traditionally broadcast the night before the GAA and hurling finals, and is very much a staple of the All-Ireland weekend. Aidan provides hilarious impersonations of players in the spotlight the next day. His repertoire of characters extends from Pat Spillane to Davy Fitzgerald, Ireland Rugby legend Ronan O’Gara to Brian Cody, Tomas Mulcahy, Michael O’Muircheartaigh and Joe Schmidt to name but a few!
