Rose Conway-Walsh TD, Sinn Féin Spokesperson Public Expenditure and Reform was elected to Dáil Eireann in 2020 after leading the Sinn Féin team in the Seanad (2016-2020) and serving on Mayo County Council (2009-2020).
Rose serves on the Finance & Public Expenditure Joint Oireachtas Committee, The Budgetary Oversight Committee, and the Good Friday Agreement Committee and the Oireachtas Audit Committee. Having previously served on the Education Committee when she was Party Spokesperson for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science (2020-2023). She was rapporteur of a Joint Oireachtas Report on Third Level Student Mobility across the Island of Ireland.
Rose is a member of Sinn Féin’s Ard Comhairle. As Frontbench TD she represents the Party Nationally and Internationally. She holds a BA in Public Management, a MA in Local Government and is currently finishing a MSc in Economic Policy from Trinity College Dublin. Rose has a broad range of experience outside politics working with multi-national companies and not-for-profit organisations in Britain and Ireland.
