Being part of a family business Joan has been involved in logistics for almost 30 years. Starting in finance as a qualified ACCA accountant, and growing to lead the finance team Joan has used this knowledge base with her experience to expand and lead the team and grow the company to meet the requirements of a fast-growing organisation. Joan is also responsible for developing Nolan Transport’s key growth strategies, and working with the relevant departments to implement these strategies in transport innovation, and change management. In 2023, she completed the leadership for growth L4G program with Enterprise Ireland, which has enabled her follow her passions for sustainability and female empowerment.
