Christina Finn is the Political Correspondent for The Journal. She has worked with the publication for over ten years, with the last six years based out of Leinster House. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English and Art History from UCD as well as a Masters in Journalism from DIT and a Masters in Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from UCD. She has previously worked for Politico, The Star on Sunday, The Gazette, Metro Herald, The Kildare Times and The Wicklow Times. She received a Justice Media Award for Court Reporting in 2016 and a Justice Media merit award in the human rights/social justice reporting category in 2019. She also received Mary Raftery Journalism Fund funding in 2013 for a series on mental health. She is a regular contributor on TV and radio programmes. Christina is originally from Bray, Co. Wicklow and currently lives in Navan, Co. Meath.
